It is all known that Hyderabad’s Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar and his team successfully broke I-Bomma Ravi’s piracy racket and arrested him a few days back. Well, when the media questioned Ravi’s father about the same, he earlier stated that he is unaware of his son’s actions and illegal activities.
Even Tollywood’s ace producer C Kalyan thrashed Ravi and stated that he should be encountered for doing such illegal activities. His statement went viral on social media and thus now when media approached Ravi’s father once again, he suddenly flipped his earlier statement and lashed out at the producer stating, “He (C. Kalyan) would know the pain if he was encountered. If the film’s content is good enough, people will definitely watch it in theatres. I used to watch films by spending 45 paisa. Now, the ticket rates have been hiked enormously. Who asked the producers to spend crores on movies? Why can’t they provide tickets at affordable rates? I would financially support the lawyers who are arguing in my son’s defence”.
Now, the whole discussion finally lands on ticket rates. So, let’s wait and watch to know how the film industry deals with this problem.
