It is all known that Bollywood’s ace actress Deepika Padukone stepped out of Prabhas’s Kalki and Spirit movies. Well, a few months ago, she was replaced by Tripti Dimri in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. This issue turned into a big controversy as Sandeep blamed Deepika stating, she leaked the story and also demanded for less work hours.
Later a few days ago, she also moved out of Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2. In the first part, she essayed SUM-80 role and was seen as the mother of Kalki Bhagavan. But now, in the second part she will be replaced by another actress. Even Kalki team dropped an official statement on social media and stressed on ‘commitment’ word leading the fans go confused.

Finally, Deepika Padukone opened up about this issue in her latest interview stating, “I don’t want to take names or make this a big thing. But it’s widely known that many male actors have been working 8 hours a day for years, Monday to Friday and they don’t work on weekends. Now, even many women and new mothers have started working 8-hour shifts, but that never makes headlines.”
She also added, “I’ve faced this throughout my career. Even when it comes to pay, I’ve had to deal with whatever comes my way. I’ve always fought my battles silently”.
Deepika added, “Sometimes those battles become public, which isn’t how I was brought up. But I believe in facing them quietly and with dignity.”
On the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan in King movie…
