It is all known that Bigg Boss fame Shivaji is now busy with handful of movies. After Bigg Boss, he bagged a blockbuster with Court movie and is now playing important role in upcoming movie Dandora. But in yesterday’s pre-release event Shivaji made some shocking remarks on actresses dressing and stirred in a controversy. He first appreciated anchor Prashanti for attending the event in a saree. Later he also stated that saree is always the best classic outfit for women and doled out that beauty does not line in revealing outfits.

Well, his shocking statements are now creating a buzz on social media. Although some of them supported his view, most of them are condemning them. Even Tollywood’s ace actor Manchu Manoj also condemned Shivaji’s comments and dropped a long note on social media… Take a look!
His letter reads, “MANOJ MANCHU

This kind of statement is deeply disappointing. Policing women’s clothing or placing moral responsibility on them is outdated and unacceptable. Respect and accountability should start with individual behavior, not by shaming women for how they dress. Public figures must speak responsibly, especially when their words influence society.
Comments like these violate the spirit of Articles 14, 15, and 21 of the Constitution of India. Equality, dignity, and personal liberty are non negotiable, women’s clothing is not up for public judgment.
I unequivocally apologize on behalf of those senior actors whose derogatory remarks have demeaned women and reduced them to objects. Such words do not represent all men. We cannot, and will not, normalize or ignore this behavior. Women deserve respect, dignity, and equality at all times. Silence is not an option, and accountability is essential.
Sincerely,
Manoj Kumar Manchu
