It is all known that Bollywood’s popular actor Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 movie was scheduled to hit the theatres in early 2026. But now, officially the makers stated that the movie is getting postponed to May or June due to the delay in shooting.
Earlier when this news was out, many thought that the makers are pushing this movie to avoid clash with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 and Yash’s Toxic. But now, the makers clarified it is because of the delay in shooting.
Speaking to the media, producer Mahesh Bhatt stated, “The release date of Awarapan 2 has been shifted to either May or June because, while shooting for the film, Emraan Hashmi, met with an accident and he had to undergo a surgery. As a result, he is not allowed to do action for 45 days. So, all the action sequences will be performed later. I am not scared of Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic.
Well, ‘Awarapan 2’ is a sequel to the 2007 action-romance Awarapan which made Emraan Hashmi hold a star status in Bollywood!
