It is all known that Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 movie is all set to hit the theatres on 12th December, 2025! After facing a big jerk with the EROS financial issue, the makers finally are all ready to release the movie on the silver screens. Although the movie missed a golden chance to conquer the overseas market, 12th is also a quite good choice as it has no tough fight at the box office. Everything will be crystal clear once the official announcement from the makers is out! It is expected to be done by this evening!
Well, on the one hand Tollywood is all happy with Akhanda 2 release date… But on the other hand, Roshan Kanakala and director Sandeep Raj’s Mowgli was also scheduled to hit the theatres on 12th December itself. With Akhanda 2 release date moving to 12th, the makers of Mowgli stepped out from the race. This is a big shock to Roshan’s fans. As December 25th and January slots are filled with big movies, now Mowgli should find a decent date to fit in the competition.

Director Sandeep Raj is totally disappointed with this move and shared his agony on social media stating that why this always happens to me…
His post reads, “Maybe Colour Photo and Mowgli deserved another DIRECTOR instead of me. These movies were made by a group of passionate people who can do anything for their profession. The common points between both films are: 1. Facing bad luck with their release, just when everything seemed to be going well. 2. Me. Maybe I am the BAD LUCK. Even I’m starting to feel that way. My dream of seeing the title “Directed by Sandeep Raj” on the big screen is becoming harder day by day. I think SILVERSCREEN hates me. Mowgli was made with the passion, sweat, and blood of so many dedicated people like Roshan, Saroj garu, Sakshi, Harsha, DOP Maruthi, Bhairava and many more. I truly hope that all good things happen to Mowgli at the very least for their sake.”
But producer SKN and hero Sai Dharam Tej consoled Sandeep and dropped their tweets on social media praising Sandeep’s efforts.
Hope Mowgli finds a better choice… Not to forget Sandeep’s Colour Photo movie bagged a National Award!
