As of now, Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is turning unstoppable in Bollywood. Although the movie released 20 days ago, still the theatres are witnessing full occupancy amid Christmas and New Year holiday season. The movie already crossed 900 crore mark and is running towards 1000 crore mile stone!

Well, coming to this week’s releases, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey’s ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ hit the theatres. Well, it was termed as Gen Z DDLJ, but something went wrong! Even Bollywood’s ace trade analyst Taran Adarsh dropped his Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ review and tagged it as a normal movie!

His post reads, “#OneWordReview… #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri: ORDINARY. Rating: 2 1/2

An urban-centric rom-com with a dull first half that improves post-interval… #KartikAaryan terrific… Writing lacks depth… A better release window could have helped. #TMMTMTTMReview#TMMTMTTM evokes memories of the timeless classic #DDLJ, but falters in the one department that forms the foundation of every film – writing. Director #SameerVidwans opts for a glossy, stylised approach, embellishing the narrative with striking visuals and glamorous moments… Unfortunately, the first half barely lands, save for a few scattered sequences. The post-interval portions fare better, shifting focus to family ties and emotional beats… The drama remains restrained – a plus – but unnecessary subplots stretch the runtime, diluting the overall impact. The screenwriting clearly follows the familiar #Dharma rom-com template; however, gloss and picture-perfect frames take precedence over substance here. The biggest strength of #TMMTMTTM is #KartikAaryan’s magnetic screen presence and charm… He invests deeply in the character, balancing vulnerability and humour with ease, making his journey both engaging and credible. #AnanyaPanday continues to evolve with every film… Does well in some sequences. The two veterans – #JackieShroff and #NeenaGupta – sparkle in their respective roles. #VishalSheykhar’s soundtrack is a major asset, with two standout numbers – the title track and #HumDono. Visually, the film scores high… It’s a very good-looking film, with the #Croatia locales captured beautifully, adding scale and freshness to this urban love story. Final word? #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri is an average, urban-centric watch… However, releasing amid the ongoing #Dhurandhar wave is likely to dent its boxoffice prospects.”
