“Honoured to participate in the International Fleet Review (IFR) held this morning off the coast of Visakhapatnam, with Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Alongside Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh Shri S. Abdul Nazeer garu and Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu, I along with my spouse Mrs. Anna Konidala witnessed an extraordinary display of India’s maritime strength, discipline, and operational excellence.
Sailing aboard INS Sumedha, we observed with immense pride as the Hon’ble President received the Guard of Honour from 71 warships — a powerful symbol of Bharat’s expanding naval capability and firm resolve to safeguard our maritime frontiers.
Under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, Bharat’s defence ecosystem has undergone a historic transformation. The emphasis on Aatmanirbhar Bharat in defence manufacturing, rapid modernization of the armed forces, enhanced maritime infrastructure, and a clear strategic vision for the Indo-Pacific have significantly strengthened our national security architecture. Today’s display by the Indian Navy reflects that renewed confidence, capability, and global standing that Bharat commands on the world stage.
The event was also attended by Hon’ble Union Minister for Civil Aviation Shri Ram Mohan garu; Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Shri Dinesh Kumar Tripathi garu; Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, Vice Admiral Shri Sanjay Bhalla garu; and Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command, Vice Admiral Shri Krishna Swaminathan garu, along with distinguished officers.
It is a matter of great pride that Andhra Pradesh is hosting this prestigious global naval event. The International Fleet Review stands as a testament to Bharat’s rising maritime stature, strategic clarity, and unwavering commitment to peace through strength.
Jai Hind.”
