Deepika Padukone… Well, she was the lead actress of Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD movie. It is already known that the makers delivered only the half part of the story in the movie. The sequel which is still to be shot has much more interesting and essential part of the plot. As Prabhas is pre-occupied with his other commitments, the shooting has not yet begun.
But all of a sudden Deepika Padukone who essayed the role of SUM-80 aka Sumathi in the first part has now parted the ways with the movie team. The makers shared this big shocking news on social media and confirmed her exit from the series.
“This is to officially announce that @deepikapadukone will not be a part of the upcoming sequel of #Kalki2898AD. After careful consideration, We have decided to part ways. Despite the long journey of making the first film, we were unable to find a partnership. And a film like @Kalki2898AD deserves that commitment and much more.”
This statement is now creating a buzz on social media as the makers pointed on ‘Commitment’ word in their official statement. Earlier Deepika also had to move out of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. Sandeep already opened up on this issue on various platforms stating Deepika leaked the story and also demanded for less work hours being a mother.
Being the second rejection in Tollywood, can Deepika bounce back strongly??? Let’s wait and watch! But remember that it’s the second time that Deepika has rejected Prabhas movie!
