As of now, Dandora movie actor Shivaji’s controversial statement has created a negative buzz both in film industry and social media. Although his point was right, those two wrong words and way of presentation turned into a big problem. He stated that women wear should fully-covered clothes like saree and dropped the instances of Laya, Soundarya, Meera Jasmin, Sai Pallavi and a few other actress. He also stated that Raja Saab actress Nidhi Agerwal felt so uncomfortable during a launch ceremony and she was mobbed due to her dressing.
Well, his words hurt many actresses including Anasuya, Lakshmi Manchu and Chinmayee. They also complained this issue to MAA and also women’s commission. Even though Shivaji dropped a public apology and cleared the air in the press meet, the issue is not clearing.
Anasuya took to het twitter and thrashed Shivaji for his comments… Take a look!
Her post reads, “I need to say this.. కొంతమంది పురుషులు.. ఇంకా కొంతమంది మహిళలు కూడా.. నా వయసును ఉపయోగించి నన్ను తక్కువగా చూపించడానికి.. నన్ను చిన్నగా భావింపజేయడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు.. ఈ విధమైన ఆలోచన కలిగిన వారు ఎక్కువగా ప్రగతిశీల మహిళలను లక్ష్యంగా చేసుకుంటారు.. ఇది మహిళలపై నియంత్రణ కోల్పోతామన్న భయం వల్ల.. అలాగే బలహీనమైన పితృస్వామ్య అహంకారాన్ని పోషించుకోవాలనే ఉద్దేశంతో జరుగుతుంది.. ఇది అందరి పురుషుల గురించీ లేదా అందరి మహిళల గురించీ కాదు.. కానీ నేను పురుషులు.. మహిళలు.. అందరికీ విన్నపం చేస్తున్నాను.. దయచేసి విస్తృతంగా ఆలోచించండి.. పాత తరాలు నేర్చుకున్నవి లేదా అలవాటుపడ్డ ఆలోచనలు మనం తప్పనిసరిగా ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్లాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. మనం మార్పును ఎంచుకోవచ్చు.. మన గౌరవాన్ని.. మన స్వేచ్ఛను కాపాడుకోవచ్చు.. ఒకరికొకరం శక్తినివ్వాలి.. మద్దతుగా నిలవాలి.. మన విలువ మన ఎంపికల నుంచే వస్తుంది.. మరే దానితో కాదు. Also కొంతమంది మీడియా బాధ్యతాయుతంగా వ్యవహరించాలి.. మీ పని బాధ్యతతో చేయాలి.. ఈ విధమైన మహిమాపరచడం (గ్లోరిఫికేషన్) సమంజసం కాదు / అభినందనీయం కాదు.”
