Amaravati: Amid the impending threat of Cyclone Montha moving rapidly towards Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has put the state administration on high alert. He conducted a teleconference with district collectors and SPs on Monday to review the preparedness measures. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that relief operations are carried out efficiently without any lapses and instructed them to stand firmly by the affected people.

During the review, Chandrababu announced that every family taking shelter in cyclone Montha rehabilitation centers will receive immediate financial aid of ₹3,000. He also ordered the distribution of 25 kilograms of rice and essential commodities to each family. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of providing all basic amenities at relief centers and mandated the setup of medical camps. He further instructed that emergency medical staff in all districts remain available round-the-clock to respond to any situation.

Emphasizing the importance of coordination and proactive governance, Chandrababu stated that the current relief operations should serve as a model for tackling future cyclones. He urged officials to work in total synchronization, leaving no room for error, and to focus on minimizing the loss of lives and property across the cyclone-affected regions.
